I open up my home for Christmas tours to benefit Toys For Tots each holiday season. Dates for 2011 will be announced later this year. Thank you to all who attended this past year. It was a huge success. It is very moving that so many people came out this year to help. I appreciate it immensely but the children you helped appreciate it more.
The 6,000 square foot home was built in 1859 and once owned by F.A. Whitney who owned the baby carriage factories in Leominster. The interior still has its original woodwork, gleaming hardwood and marble floors, chandeliers, and fireplace mantels.
The house is decorated with life size nutcrackers, Victorian Santa, miniature village, trains, multiple Christmas trees, animated reindeer, and antique sleigh.
I ask that you help me help others for this good cause with your donation or unwrapped gift. If everyone sent in just $1, it would make a tremendous difference.
